- FSDB Video Library on Vimeo – as of August 2011, there are 154 videos available. They are organized into Channels and Albums. Some Albums are locked because FSDB does not have copyright permission to publish the content, but the performers are able to review their recordings. You can subscribe to our Vimeo Library!

Assistive Technology for the Blind
FSDB has uploaded a series of videos focusing on Assistive Technologies for students who are Blind/Visually Impaired and will continue to share other video series online. FSDB hopes to showcase what our students are capable of to help breakdown barriers that are often faced by individuals who have sensory impairments when they enter the workforce.
ASL Surf Lingo
ASL Translations of Surfing Lingo. Signs include parts of the surfboard, etiquette signs, command signs, and nautical signs. This video was created to assist instructors who provided Surfing Lessons to some of our Deaf/HH students at the 2011 Surf Camp.
Dance Troupe Performances
“Don’t Unplug Me” is a performance that has received rave reviews and many views online after the band, ALL CAPS, gave us permission to publish their song and our performance online.
ASL Translations for Social Studies
ASL Translations for Social Studies – We have just begun a series of ASL translations of important documents which are part of the history of our nation. So far the series includes, The Preamble to The Constitution of the United States of America and The Preamble to The Declaration of Independence
Focus Questions
Focus Questions are ASL presentations of sample standardized test questions to assist teachers, parents, dormitory staff, and students in translating vocabulary used in test situations as well as understand strategies to use when analyzing test questions and answer options. There are Albums for Reading and Math at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels.
FSDB Athletics
FSDB Athletics is the newest album in our collection. We plan to record and share more of our athletic events to highlight the accomplishments of our students and coaches. When you can – come out to see a game live or watch the live broadcasts online! The first video published in this series is FSDB Cheerleading from the Mason Dixon 2011 Tournament.
Deaf Family Literacy Alliance (DFLA) Partnership
The Signing Stories @ Your Library video library is created in partnership with the Deaf Family Literacy Academy (DFLA) working with the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB). DFLA presents live within the community throughout each year and the FSDB distance learning project partnered to bring this wonderful program to other families around the State of Florida.
Media Productions
Our Media Productions area is responsible for recording, editing, and producing content for distribution on the Web, DVD, and on internal video-on-demand servers. The Media Productions Services team works to ensure the content we are distributing either live or after being recorded is high quality and accessible. The Media Productions staff also oversee the use of Kirk Auditorium for events which utilize media for presentation of content, interpreters, as well as for recording and broadcasting. In addition, staff facilitate the recording of content to showcase Assistive Technologies and other topics of interest related to Deafness and Blindness.
